Two tours in Korea.
First tour:13th Ordnance Artillery and Vehicle Park Company,
702nd Ordnance Company, 2nd Infantry (Indianhead) Division,
Second tour: Co A, 724th Ordnance Battalion, 24th Infantry (Taro Leaf) Division.
My duties were with: the Artillery and Track Park Platoon (armor, and
self-propelled artillery),

then Service Platoon, 702nd Ordnance Company (platoon leader in each instance).
I rotated on points to Japan and was assigned as company commander, Company A,
724th Ord Bn (duty station, South Camp Fuji, Fujioka, Japan). When the division
was reassigned to Korea I was replaced by a captain but retained as platoon
leader of the Service Platoon, Company A of the 724th Ord Bn.
