Tonight {12/12/06}was something special, a program by the Boy Scouts with two scouts receiving the rank of EAGLE SCOUT. Only 2% of all boy scouts attain that rank. It requires a huge criteria among which are leadership, comraderie, patriotism and performing a major contribution to the community. Both Ryan J. Butts and Robert D. Fineran met the requirements. The Knights of Columbus Hall in Pinellas Park was filled with scouts & parents and last but never the least were members of Chapter 14 KWVA. Gordon Bennett, Gene Stone, Chuck Dawson, Ray Dennis an Eagle Scout in our own ranks & Clarence Dadswell co-ordinator, presented the awards.
