On Sept. ninth at 2:30 the Chapter 14 KWVA participated in Flag folding at Bay Pines VAMC. There were about twenty members present and they folded 76 Flags to be encased and given to wives of Vets that did not have a military funeral. The chapter has been doing this as the need arises.
The Flags are put into a case that was especially made for this purpose. Pres. Clarence Dadswell got the ball rolling last year when a Hospice member had asked for help. Previously they were handed out in a cardboard box, not exactly the way we expect our Flag to be given in honor of a fallen comrade.
