It was called The Great AmericaTeach In. Four members of Chapter 14 went to Pinellas Park Middle School to become participants. Pres. Clarence Dadswell, Fred Felter, Al Destefano and Harold Macking. After introductions Etc. were out of the way Al DeStefano described in length what a Veterans was. Each of the other members talked about the variety of things peculiar to their military job. A question and answer session followed and these kids had some questions. They were answered in a highly confident manner by whomever was addressed. We stayed for two sessions or classes and received numerous thanks from administrators and kid salutes from some of the children. It was a worthwhile project to become involved with.
