Once again some menbers of KWVA Chapter 14 rose to the task. The Flag folding has grown since its initial beginning a few years ago. Previously a Flag was given in a simple box to a living member of a family whose deceased Vet did not have a Military Funeral.

The KWVA started folding the Flags properly and putting them into a transparent plastic case making the Flag for which the Vet had served for, a more symbolic remembrance. The Elks have helped by donating the cases and now other Orgs. are getting involved. It is a small but vital program as many of the un-newsworthy programs that Chapter 14 is involved within the surrounding communities. Photos are by Staff Photographer Joe Sheehan.
