Freedom Lake Park, June 20th, 2009. A Korean War Vet had never received any of his medals or recognition due him. At the families request KWVA Chapter 14 was asked to make the presentation to him. Congressman Bill Young obtasined the medals and an employee from the Sheriff's office made a shadow box to mount them in. This was all done without the Vet knowing anything about it.
